Millennials at Work

Posted in Uncategorized, What's happening with the artists by K2Creative on September 19, 2016

It’s is my third time writing this blog.  I wrote all about millennials – people’s opinions on them, their power in the advertising world, and strategic marketing toward them.  I deleted it.  Because this blog isn’t about all that.  It’s about Ashton Worthington’s fantastic photo shoot.  And that, dear friends, is below.

Lou Bopp – Commerical with C Spire

Posted in Uncategorized by K2Creative on September 24, 2015

It is no secret that we love dogs at k2 creative, in fact I’ve rescued one myself. We love this new commercial that Lou Bopp directed and shot featuring Bully the bulldog. Bully was clearly the star of the whole shoot and only “worked” on his own time being a diva and all. A bulldog in goggles will bring a smile to your face, check out the spot below.

AD: Crystal Coleman

Lou Bopp shoots Boy Scouts of America campaign

Posted in Agency News by K2Creative on March 11, 2015
Nothing better than seeing a photographer’s work in print.  Congrats to Lou Bopp on a beautiful campaign for the Boy Scouts of America!  See some of the imagery and a description of the shoot from Lou below.  More Boy Scouts imagery here.
FROM LOU:
We were tapped by Advertising Savants via Tangent Mind this summer to make these images and more for The Boy Scouts of America, specifically for these boards. #compositioncritical  It was an awesome adventure fueled shoot….rocks, snakes, water, horses, heat, rockets, sweat are just a few words that pop in my mind as I write this….love working with this group, Client & crew! Downside is my beautiful legs will never be quite the same, scarred for life because of the dreadful Trombiculidae (/trɒmbɨˈkjuːlɨdiː). The best known of the Trombiculidae is the chigger. Guess that they liked what they saw lol!

The month of October was all about location, location and location. Don’t get me wrong I love when we’re working in studio on a rainy day or when the temps start to dip in New York.  But this past month has kept us busy traveling and we’ve been busy location scouting and shooting all over the globe. Beautiful landscapes can’t be beat, can you guess where we were on location?

Follow us on instagram as we post while traveling.

Happy almost October. It is hard to imagine that Summer is over when it was 80s  and sunshine last weekend in NYC. k2 creative Mgmt has been busy introducing our new photographer, Daniel Rosenthal (seriously check out his work already!) the feedback has been amazing!

The artists have been busy shooting in just about every edge of the world: Barbara Cole preparing for her new show (Bau-Xi Gallery) November 15th in Toronto, Lou Bopp shooting up and down the South for a new project, Ashton Worthington just returned from Afghanistan working on a personal project, Daniel Rosenthal covering New York Fashion Week and Joshua Scott on location.
The scheduling has been fun needless to say and we’re ready to bring on the Fall. We’ll be posted our new campaigns once launched over October and November on Facebook and twitter – follow us.

In the meantime we’ve decided to give a little taste from BTS (behind the scene) shoots this past month that k2 creative artists have been working on. Not to mention we’ve saved the best for last! #danielRosenthal #shootininskivves #timessquare #noshame

While it seems like every one in NYC is shutting down for the holiday weekend we’re just getting started. I can’t believe it’ll be Summer already with BBQs, beaches and some great shoots coming up. Check out what we’ve been busy working on in the past month or so. Have a great weekend and here’s to another busy summer.

Legends of Mississippi – Lou Bopp featured on Slate.com

Posted in What's happening with the artists by K2Creative on November 12, 2013

We love Lou Bopp.  We love his work and his story.  Turns out other people do too.  Check out this feature on slate.com – depicting his Mississippi Blues work, and how the project began.  You won’t be disappointed.

To view the Slate Article, click here.

Lou captures timeless moments – and not just in the blues realm.  See it all (blues and beyond) on our website.  We could call it lifestyle, but we don’t want you to think it’s “cheesy” or contrived.  You decide for yourself.
