Lou Bopp – Commerical with C Spire

It is no secret that we love dogs at k2 creative, in fact I’ve rescued one myself. We love this new commercial that Lou Bopp directed and shot featuring Bully the bulldog. Bully was clearly the star of the whole shoot and only “worked” on his own time being a diva and all. A bulldog in goggles will bring a smile to your face, check out the spot below.

Happy almost October. It is hard to imagine that Summer is over when it was 80s  and sunshine last weekend in NYC. k2 creative Mgmt has been busy introducing our new photographer, Daniel Rosenthal (seriously check out his work already!) the feedback has been amazing!

The artists have been busy shooting in just about every edge of the world: Barbara Cole preparing for her new show (Bau-Xi Gallery) November 15th in Toronto, Lou Bopp shooting up and down the South for a new project, Ashton Worthington just returned from Afghanistan working on a personal project, Daniel Rosenthal covering New York Fashion Week and Joshua Scott on location.
The scheduling has been fun needless to say and we’re ready to bring on the Fall. We’ll be posted our new campaigns once launched over October and November on Facebook and twitter – follow us.

In the meantime we’ve decided to give a little taste from BTS (behind the scene) shoots this past month that k2 creative artists have been working on. Not to mention we’ve saved the best for last! #danielRosenthal #shootininskivves #timessquare #noshame

Ronald Reagan, Blues, and the Pursuit of Moonshine

Posted in Uncategorized, What's happening with the artists by K2Creative on June 25, 2013

Lou Bopp packed a back and left his NYC apartment for the road two weeks ago.  Being a busy photographer (shooting for clients like Intel, Deutche Bank and Purina) clearly isn’t enough for him.  So to take his love of the Mississippi Blues to a whole new level,  Lou is collaborating on a 10 episode video webseries, aptly titled Moonshine and Mojo Hands.  We can’t tell you too much about it just yet – but in the meantime, we wanted to share some of Lou’s still imagery caught while on the road.  As always, these reflect real people living their real lives…but these lives are undeniably more interesting than ours.  Dang Toto, we’re sure as hell not in New York anymore.

As a sidenote, I can’t be the only one who recognizes the lead singer from Squirrel Nut Zippers below.  Right? …

Don’t forget to check out Lou’s other video work here.   Enjoy!

Joshua Scott – a W Hotels video turns into an art study in metallics

Posted in Uncategorized, What's happening with the artists by K2Creative on April 18, 2013

Photographer Joshua Scott shot a W Hotels holiday video late last year.  The video is gorgeous, but we’re just now seeing the accompanying still shots he created.  They are a study in metallics, in texture, and in lighting.  In a word, they are MESMERIZING.  We’ve looked at them a hundred times and still find nuances that inspire us.  See the video and the gorgeous photos shot in addition below.

How to solve a rubics cube – Joshua Scotts latest video

Posted in Uncategorized, What's happening with the artists by K2Creative on October 24, 2011

Photographer Joshua Scott likes to change things up – you never know what he’ll come up with next.  This time around, he’s kickin’ it old school.   Love the video (and the still he shot, now in his portfolio).  Make sure to have your volume raised!
